Rigobert Kynast, Technical Leader Sercos III Communication at Bosch Rexroth AG, will explain the Service Channel in a webinar on September 30, 2015. He’ll explain how the Master opens the Service Channel and how data can be read and written.
The slave has 2 possibilities to react to service channel requests from the master. They are either without error or with an error and error code supplied.
The second webinar on November 12, will cover the diagnosis with Sercos® tools. Kynast will discuss how the diagnosis is structured in a Sercos slave.
In particular, he will look into how the Slave reports a diagnostic, the diagnostic classes, e.g., errors, warnings and conditions, and will explain the diagnostic trace and more.
All webinars are scheduled for 30 minutes plus additional time at the end of the webinar for a general exchange and potential queries. The webinars will take place at 16 hrs CET.
