Sercos goes East

Many visitors used this opportunity to learn more about latest developments of the Sercos automation bus and discussed their automation projects with experts from the user organization and member companies.

At this year’s Automation fair in Mumbai, India in August, Sercos presented products and technologies at its joint booth including CNCs, motion controls, drives and I/O peripheral devices.

Sercos organized a 3-hour forum on machine communication and motion control that was well attended. In addition to a technology update with a focus on real-time communication and IoT, Bosch Rexroth India and Schneider Electric India presented automation solutions for machinery based on Sercos III. The forum also included a presentation from ACE Designers Ltd., showing how Sercos III can be used in machinery tool applications and showing its benefits by using a unified machine network.
