Bosch Rexroth has introduced a new license-free and hardware-independent Sercos fieldbus master connection with Sercans XS, based on the Sercos SoftMaster open source software. In just a few minutes, developers can test if their PC target platform is suitable for using the SoftMaster. Bosch Rexroth and TenAsys Corporation therefore offer the Sercos-on-a-stick free live demo system. It demonstrates and evaluates the hardware for automation with the Sercos SoftMaster, without impacting the installed operating system.
