Rigobert Kynast, Technical Leader Sercos III Communication at Bosch Rexroth AG, will explain in this webinar how the Master opens the Service Channel and how data can be read and written.
The slave has 2 possibilities to react to service channel requests from the master. They are either without error or with an error and error code supplied.
Functionalities of the Service Channel:
- Can the Master communicate simultaneously with several slaves via the service channel?
- How does the master open and close the service channel? Error messages supplied by the slave.
- How does the master read data? Error messages supplied by the slave.
- How does the master write data? Error messages supplied by the slave.
