Sercos International shows at SPS IPC Drives Italia from May 12 to 14, 2015 new technologies, products and updates re safety at its joint booth in hall 2, booth no. C058.
Schneider Electric presents the Modicon LMC078, a logic-motion controller. It combines motion control functionality for up to 16 servo axes on a single controller platform with a powerful PLC that can process a PLC instruction in 2 nanoseconds. The Sercos-based automation bus enables a maximum cycle time of 2 ms for applications using 16 servo axes.
Bosch Rexroth introduces its SERCANS Sercos master module with the slogan "one cable instead of three.” This is one of the first products for the common Sercos III and EtherNet/IP infrastructure. The parallel communication of Sercos III, EtherNet/IP, TCP/IP and safety-related communication significantly eases automation and allows engineers and system integrators to combine devices from different manufacturers that support Sercos, EtherNet/IP or TCP/IP. This PC plug-in card simplifies the automation of individual machine modules as well as entire machines.
Additional demos and exhibits from various other manufacturers such as, Cannon-Automata, Hilscher, Smitec etc. will also be on display, indicating amongst other the bandwidth of Sercos capable products.
