10th plugfest hosted in Stuttgart/Germany

The 10th plugfest for sercos III devices took place on October 24-25, 2012, at the Institute for Control Engineering of Machine Tools and Manufacturing Units (ISW) at the University of Stuttgart. During this two-day event, a number of new products with various configurations were subjected to intensive tests in combination with other communication participants. The conclusion: an open approach and a proven, standardized protocol make it easy to combine components from various different manufacturers. The dates for the next plugfest are already out: May 15-16, 2013.
