Boost for Sercos International

Sercos International participated in three events and organized four seminars in the first quarter of 2015.

The user organization, together with member companies, showed innovative products and solutions at SIAF Industrial Automation Fair in Guangzhou, China from March 9-11. The event has evolved in recent years into one of the most important trade fairs for industrial automation in Asia and it attracted approximately 40,000 visitors and 500 exhibitors from 15 countries.

Many visitors used the opportunity to obtain latest information on innovative products and solutions at the Sercos joint booth. Very well visited was also the conference, where attendees could gain more information on latest developments, trends and applications of Sercos®, as well as the seminar for developers which took place after the exhibition ended.

Further seminars took already place in Hangzhou and Beijing in January. Around 100 participants used these seminars to broaden their knowledge about the Sercos technology. 

In Europe, Sercos International participated in the MC4 Motion Control exhibition, which was held in Bologna, Italy. More than 50 international exhibitors attended this large industry meeting and presented innovations, trends and new products from all over the world, as did Sercos International, Automata S.p.A., Bosch Rexroth and Schneider Electric in the Sercos joint booth.

Automata S.p.A. completed the exhibition presence of the user organization with a presentation on ‘Trends in Industrial Communication for the Factory of the Future’. 

The Automation Summit 2015, held in Boeblingen, Germany, completed the March events. From March 24 to 26, new solutions and trends were presented at the Sercos joint booth together with 3S-Smart Software Solutions, OSADL and Vision & Control. In addition, Sercos offered a developer workshops on ‘Safety in Automation’ which was well attended.
