Growing interest in sercos® technologies continues at SPS IPC Drives in Parma/ Italy

All organizations presented their latest developments and product innovations in automation such as:

• The sercos® III and EtherNet/IP blended infrastructure which allows sercos telegrams, CIP messages and TCP/IP messages to coexist within a network without requiring additional cables. This approach helps machine builders and users to simplify machine integration and to reduce costs and complexity of such integration while retaining the ability to utilize preferred product suppliers and automation devices.
• Latest additions to the sercos safety portfolio such as SafeLogic compact from Bosch Rexroth, the AS-i 3.0 sercos Gateway from Bihl+Wiedemann with integrated Safety Monitor for CIP Safety on sercos to name but a few...
• Plus, a continuously growing vendor portfolio:  Schneider Electric enhanced PacDrive with a 130A-servo drive, Hilscher offers a brand new IO-link, Phoenix Contact added Axioline E and F to its IO-link family etc.

SPS Italia also reported new record numbers: Nearly 25% more visitors attended compared to last year and the number of exhibitors rose to 518 which reflects a 16% increase.
