Test your tic-tac-toe abilities at the Sercos booth at SPS 2018
Schneider Electric’s robo-based game of tic-tac-toe challenges you!
In addition to system solutions and new innovative products, Sercos International will present a robotic demo from Schneider Electric at the SPS show in Nuremburg November 27 - 29 in hall 5, booth 130.
The robotic solution consists of a stainless-steel Schneider Electric PacDrive P4-robot and a MAXR gantry robot. The 3-axis P4 delta robot sets the gaming pieces while the 3-axis gantry robot moves the board with its additional rotary axis. To perform this task, the P4 picker must synchronize with four mechanically coupled axes (3 x linear, 1 x rotary). After each automatic move by the robot, the visitor sets his gaming piece using the human-machine interface. This allows the visitor to play an active role in the game and in the robot’s actions. A Magelis handheld touch panel serves as the operational interface.
All robot axes are driven by Lexium motors, controlled by servo drives from the Lexium 62 multi-axis servo solution of PacDrive 3. The entire demo machine is controlled by a PacDrive LMC 600 controller, which communicates with the servo drives via the Sercos automation bus.
Visitors to the Sercos joint booth are invited to test their abilities against the robotic solution!
